We have a Communications Officer whose role is to increase the level of community awareness about our activities. It is important for us to inform people about our office, how we operate, and how we are able to help.
There are a number of activities we undertake as part of our community outreach program. These include speaking to community groups, liaising with consumer and provider organisations, publicising information about our office, participating at various public events, (eg professional forums/seminars/conferences); community activities (eg the NorthWest Expo and the Mental Health Week); and regular consumer and provider forums.
We publish a regular newsletter and use our website to inform the community about our work.
We regularly speak to various groups about the role of our Office. These groups include: health and disability service providers, health and disability advocacy groups, mental health consumer organisations, and other community groups.
If you would like to arrange for a staff member to talk to your organisation, please contact us, either by phone or use the link below to email us. Please include in your email the name of your organisation and a brief description of what your organisation does, your address, contact details, and a suggested time and date. We will contact you on receipt of this email mail@healthreview.wa.gov.au to confirm arrangements.
